I stayed in the hostel bit in the basement, it had damp problems as seen by electric radiators all over. But the room itself was dry and clean and the bed was fine. I didn't use the sheets and used my sleeping bag.
It now has a great shop next to the hotel with loads of supplies. Really handy.
I heard of a few people getting ill after staying the night here. So I chlorine treated all the water I drank from here and for the next few days to be safe and had no problems.

The hotel is a bit shabby but quite comfortable. I'd read reports about the dinner portions being too small but found them to be quite good and very tasty. The basement hostel was clean and comfortable too. I chlorinated my water too and avoided any tummy troubles but I did that at every stop. We had heard of tents being trashed by foxes next door and decided the hotel might be a better option. There is a refuge next door if you'd prefer that but I didn't see a shop. Is that in the refuge?
